This image shows the way I feel about my smartphone as my #1 Business Tool. Way back when I started training over 25 years ago I remember talking to may accountant who advised me that I could use my car as a mobile office space due to the amount of training equipment and files I needed to carry with on any given day.
What is it exactly that makes the smartphone such an amazing tool for trainers and presenters?
Today’s technology enables us to almost complete run our businesses from the palm of our hand from just about anywhere. We can shop, book a trip, run a conference, chat face to face with our colleges or students and send them files and tasks to do at the push of a button on our smartphone.
Did you know that according to recent studies we as users of smartphone technologies are underutilising the potential we hold in the palm of our hands. Just 12 months ago we were on average using only around 5% of its potential? Now in 2017, we use them to give us directions, listen to music and watch movies for a fraction of what a CD or Video would have cost just a couple of years ago.
